Look closely at the green latch paths inside the housing. Check for a tiny spring-loaded plastic toggle or pin. If it is stuck due to tape residue or debris, clean it using a soft, dry toothbrush.
- Power Cycle Reset:
Sometimes the firmware caches the sensor state. Turn off the power switch, unplug the adapter for 15 seconds, plug it back in, and turn on the unit with the cover closed.
