2. Reset the Scanner Mainboard

An unstable power line can interfere with initial optical self-tests:
  • Turn off the power switch and disconnect the power cord from the scanner back.

  • Connect the cord directly to a stable wall outlet, skipping extension boards, and boot up the system.
