Solution 1: Clean the Gold Electric Terminals

  2. Pull the power plug directly from the wall to keep the carriage mobile.
  3. Press the blue housing cover latch buttons to release and lift the cartridge locking door.
  4. Carefully remove both printheads.
  5. Using a dry, lint-free microfiber cloth (optionally dipped in a small amount of isopropyl alcohol), wipe down the gold contacts on the back of the printheads and inside the carriage slot.
  6. Let them dry completely, put the cartridges back in, and secure the blue lock cover down until you hear a solid click.
