  • Power off the printer and remove the label roll.
  • Locate the adjustable LSS guide (a black slider unit with an integrated green LED near the paper path entry).
  • Slide the LSS handle so that the sensor lines up directly over the gaps between labels or over the black marks on your backing liner.
  • Clean both the upper and lower optical sensor cavities using compressed air or a swab damp with isopropyl alcohol to clear away fibers.

Solution 2: Manual Media Calibration (Cold Boot)

If the printer continuously feeds blank labels without stopping, you need to recalibrate the light levels of the firmware to recognize your media liner.
  • With paper loaded correctly, turn off the printer's main power switch.
  • Press and hold the Feed key on the front panel while turning the printer back on.
  • Continue holding the Feed button until the device begins its slow feed calibration pattern.
  • The LCD screen will flash a confirmation showing the LSS calibration completed successfully.
